I went from the career title “Florist” to “Floral Artist”. The reason? Florist felt like I had to boxed into floral design with vases and hand tied bouquets. It felt small when I aim to create art so big and full of emotion. Floral Artist says, I work with flowers, but in what capacity? I am a floral sculptor. A floral painter. I imagine how I can create art with the fauna and flora and I do it. I do not limit myself to a niche or a special area. Flowers are my niche. Flowers are my muse. Flowers are the inspiration for an ever flowing state of consciousness to create art with our natural world.
