One of Michigan’s top-rated municipal golf courses has been serving the Dearborn community for 90 years. Scenic Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Golf Course, nestled in the valley of the Rouge River just north of Michigan Avenue in west Dearborn, features beautiful greens and fairways, a fully stocked pro shop, club and cart rentals, a grille and banquet and meeting rooms. The Dearborn Hills Grille R
oom features a limited menu Monday through Thursday from 3-8 p.m. The Grille Room is closed Friday through Sunday for private parties. Gift certificates in any amount are available at the Pro Shop, which is open daily from dawn to dusk. Golf outing packages, featuring either nine or 18 holes of golf and a choice of food and/or beverage selections, are also available. Tee times may be reserved up to one week in advance by calling the Pro Shop or visiting www.dearbornhills.com.

The City of Dearborn Government, Michigan Department of Attorney General, and Safe & Just Michigan are partnering to host an expungement fair to help as many Dearborn residents as possible get their chance at having a clean record.
The fair will be held on Friday, Oct. 21 from 12-4 p.m. in the Lincoln Ballroom at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.
Under Michigan law, an expungement is the removal of eligible misdemeanors and felonies from a person’s public record.

Dearborn Hills Golf Course is owned and operated by the City of Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department. Dearborn Hills Golf Course was built in 1923 by the late Robert Herndon, a prominent local developer and benefactor. It is reputed to be Michigan's oldest public golf course and is listed in the State Register of Historic Sites. In the summer of 1991, it closed for a $5 million renovation and expansion. The resulting new course was named Michigan's Best Public Golf Course by Detroit News readers and awarded 3.5 stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places To Play."
