You know what's really important to me?
The way I (and the experiences I am a part of) make people feel.
I keep coming back to this idea about intentionality – about the "why" behind my decision making process.
The "why" behind my decisions often has a common theme or driving force and that's, in its simplest form, the way my decisions make people feel.
(I'm an empath, if you couldn't tell!)
I can't help but think of others and the way my decisions impact them – everything from what I choose to cook for dinner for my family of 4 to my specific word choice on a thank you card, the tone of a piece of writing, or the way I choose to arrange furniture in an event space.
These "little details" are what create impressionable experiences and I simply can't stop thinking about them – and truthfully, the attention to detail is WHY people choose to hire me as a contractor. 🙌
Whether you see if from my perspective or another, the way someone feels will inevitably determine the quality of their experience – not to mention the amount of information they're able to take in, the way they show up in a conversation, and their willingness to expose their vulnerabilities amongst their peers.
Food For Thought:
In agriculture, we're notorious for asking producers to talk about difficult topics like personal finances, succession planning, hardship, loss, grief, etc. but rarely are we considering the space in which we're trying to invite these conversations... Why?
All of this to say, when you partner with me to build community, develop relationships, and plan events that leave life-long impressions on your attendees, you're getting someone who is paying attention to all the "little details" – and someone who truly cares about how each and every decision will make someone feel. ❤️
