Why I Started Arndts & Co.
This didn’t start with my wedding.
For years, I’ve spent months planning Evie’s birthdays and John’s birthdays. And when I didn’t have months, I’d somehow do it all in a week.
I’ve stayed up for hours making 7-foot-tall, life-size party props. I’ve turned birthdays into full experiences, down to the smallest detail. Every year, I make the decorations, find the vision, shop for every little detail, DIY what I can’t find, and put it all together.
I genuinely love it.
I love taking an idea and figuring out how to make it real. I love the aesthetic, the shopping, the creating, the decorating, and especially that moment when everything is finally set up.
So when I started planning our wedding, I already knew from the beginning that I wanted to do this for other people.
But Arndts & Co. means more to me than throwing pretty parties.
I know what it feels like to feel forgotten. To feel like maybe nobody cared enough to celebrate you.
And I also know what it feels like when someone unexpectedly shows up with nothing more than a single balloon, a cupcake and a lit candle.
It’s such a small thing, but for a moment, you feel something that a lot of people only ever get little crumbs of.
You feel seen.
Not just noticed. Truly seen. Cared about. Loved. Supported.
That’s what I want to create.
It doesn’t have to be a $20,000 wedding or a huge birthday party. I don’t care if it’s a proposal, a date night, a mom’s night, a music video, celebrating yourself, or hell—even a breakup party.
If it matters to you, it’s worth making something out of.
And that’s also why I chose our name.
Arndts.
It’s the last name my husband gave me and the name our daughter carries. I hope it continues to represent something meaningful and honorable for the years we share it together.
Arndts & Co. is about celebrating people.
Making things personal. Making beautiful things possible on smaller budgets.
