Whhheeeww, 2017 look at these young bucks! Wanting to wish a super Happy Anniversary to my beautiful, amazing, loving wife … As some of you may or may not know my father passed away on this very same day a year after Mary and I were married. It’s truly made celebrating our marriage a tough act to come by when I’m so overwhelmed with emotions from my father’s unexpected death but I do know one thing.. Mary Jordan, I am so extremely thankful for you sticking by my side on all the nights I’ve cried, the nights I didn’t talk, the nights when I wasn’t myself…. I lost interest in life, DJ’ing, music in total, the want to love, and any willingness to keep hustling but there you were everyday not giving up on me and I can’t thank you enough. So TODAY is to remember my father and love him but I’m going to cut the chains of depression and sadness and genuinely enjoy MY WIFE and our anniversary.

Long live pops, the Alva’s will continue on ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
