Hi there, we're Adeline and Valerie, the souls behind Hey Love Studio—a space where each frame tells a story of love, joy, and the intimate moments that make life extraordinary. Adeline: I find joy in a few things—my wife (Valerie!), family, two cats, camera, travel, music, and food. As a neurodivergent individual, my unique brain allows me to be creative and see the world in a special way, fuelin

g an incredible passion for learning and growth. As a Queer person, I stand for Black Lives Matter, and pro-peace with love on earth. A little spiritual, I believe in energies and beautiful soul connections. Life, to me, should be lived slowly, savoring every moment, including frequent naps. English is my second language; I also speak Afrikaans and broken Korean with my wife. Eco-conscious traveling is how I hope to see the world. My favorite clothing piece is usually a sweater that holds a special connection, currently my "cool aunties club" sweater. Life has been an adventurous journey for me, and I'm grateful for every step.

Engagement sessions might be a free perk of booking your wedding - but they serve a very special purpose.

Engagement or pre-wedding sessions allow you and your photographer to get to know each other. You learn how to *model* certain poses, and your photographer learns how to communicate with you. Trust that you don't want to experience your first time in front of the camera on a busy and stressful wedding day.

That's a big reason why we offer them with most of our packages - we honor and value your day too much to just **rock up** and see what happens.

People always ask what elopement photos feel like compared to wedding photos. And they're just different.

When there are fewer people in the room, the energy changes. Couples aren't performing for a crowd and just exist with each other. The photos feel like a conversation.

But for weddings? They feel like how they should be - a party with your best friends and family.
