This year Day of the Dead holds an extra special place in my heart. I recently lost my dearest daddy back in June. I never thought Iā€™d have to experience the heartache that comes with that. Finding my creative outlet in making this rosary was exactly what I needed to get out of my funk. He loved allll my crafts and was always so impressed with my work. I would show my parents every order that I would make and he would always give me his approval. That was all the validation I needed. Forcing myself to hand make flowers for his altar was bittersweet but I know he approves all the way from heaven. Adding a DIY rosary was the perfect touch given that he was daily reading his Bible and had so much faith. šŸ“æ
