5 THINGS I NEEDED TO HEAR MORE OFTEN AS A CHRONIC PEOPLE-PLEASER βοΈ
I've struggled with being a people-pleaser for the majority of my life - and I know I'm not alone in this.
After 6 months of daily journaling and working to recognize my own shortcomings and tendencies around wanting to be liked, these are the 5 best affirmations I've created to combat people-pleasing.

β Trying to stay out of the way or play small because you don't want to be an inconvenience
β Bending over backward for others to make them like you more
β Blurring the lines of your own personal boundaries out of fear of losing the respect or approval of others
β Failing to voice your own opinions and stand up for what you believe in because you fear retaliation and disapproval
β Avoiding mistakes and confrontation
