Back in Texas, and we already have a new project! Our tonneau cover was starting to crack right down the middle. Doesn't look like new, but it temporarily got the job done! Another week, though, and the sides started pulling out of the track, so we took the whole thing off. Looking for a large outdoor container now to put in the back and carry our miscellaneous RV supplies. Always have to be creative in an RV.

Our six-month trip through New England came to an end at Niagara Falls in New York. We enjoyed the Canadian and U.S. sides. It was an amazing, natural experience. We stood right next to the falls, under it, and above it. We hope everyone gets to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime escape!

Star Trek - the Original Series set tour in Ticonderoga, NY. We are trekkies!! Maybe not quite as die-hard as our tour guide, she was great! It was cool to step onto the set and sit in the captain's chair, plus get tidbits about behind-the-scenes events from the show.

Fort Ticonderoga in New York. Enjoying re-enactments, a history tour, and more. We learned that this fort was a turning point several times in the future of the United States.

Belden Falls in Vermont. Cool to see your name up 'in lights'. We discovered this beautiful falls in Vermont, spelled the same too...(normally it is spelled Beldon).

Fireworks over Lake Champlain on the New York side. And a lighted boat show. A little late posting, but we wanted to share Lake Champlain's celebration of Labor Day in the town of Moriah.

We found an awesome, unpublished campground through a referral. It might not be for everyone but it was perfect for us. Very secluded, not busy. Didn't have sewer but had a dump service and a train ran through right behind the campground. We thought the views were perfect! Thanks Port Henry RV Campground in Port Henry, NY (Moriah).

Whale Watch tour in Kennebunk, ME. If you think you have seen it all, if you have already been on a whale experience, you can be surprised! This time we see two whales 'sleeping' on top of the water!

Covered Bridge Motorcycle Ride in Vermont - We learned Vermont has around 105 covered bridges, and even fewer you can drive across. This one you couldn't ride across, but we could park right in front of it and walk it. How many do you think are actually drivable now?

Cliff Walk at Marginal Way in Maine - We aren't big hikers, but walking this cliff area was easy, beautiful, and free. Have you been here or walked a seaside cliff?

Lobster tour in Maine - We learned what they look for when catching lobster, so they leave behind enough to replenish the population. Clipping tails, tossing back females and mommas, and only keeping the appropriate sizes. We did try a lobster roll. We think we like skipping the roll and just eating fresh lobster with butter! How do you like your rolls?
