One of my favorite things about great wedding design is when the color palette isn’t just beautiful—it creates an experience.

This tablescape is a perfect example of intentional design. The layered blush, mauve, berry, and soft coral tones create depth without overwhelming the eye. Instead of relying on one statement piece, the designer allowed color to flow naturally throughout the space.

What really stands out to me is the use of texture. The sculptural anthuriums, twisting branches, lush florals, ribbed glass hurricanes, colored goblets, and fluted charger plates all work together to add movement and dimension. Every element has a purpose, proving that luxury isn’t about excess—it’s about thoughtful layering.

As a designer, I always appreciate spaces that invite your eye to travel. From the low floral moments to the varying candle heights and organic lines, this design feels elevated, romantic, and effortlessly curated.

This is a beautiful reminder that great event design isn’t just about decorating a room—it’s about creating an atmosphere your guests will remember.

One of the things I love most about this industry is getting to be part of milestone moments that represent years of hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and perseverance.

This past weekend, I had the honor of helping bring a college graduation celebration to life for an incredible client and her family. From the very beginning, the vision was clear: create an experience that felt elevated, meaningful, and worthy of the journey that led to this moment.

Events like these are a reminder that event design is about so much more than décor. It’s about storytelling. It’s about creating spaces where people can pause, reflect, celebrate, and feel genuinely seen.

Let me say this respectfully…

Just because an event is expensive
doesn’t mean it feels luxurious.

Here’s where most people miss:

1. No intentional guest experience
Luxury events are designed with the guest in mind, from arrival to exit. Not just “pretty decor.”
2. Everything matches… but nothing is layered
Luxury is depth. Textures, lighting, movement, contrast. Not just a color scheme.
3. No flow to the event
