One of the habits that completely changed the way I planned weddings was creating a “Lessons Learned” document after every event.

After the wedding, I would sit down and write out:
• what worked well
• what created stress
• what clients responded positively to
• what could have been communicated better
• what systems needed improvement
• what logistical problems happened that I never wanted repeated again

Some of my best systems today were built from those notes.

Things like:
• better emergency kits
• improved timelines
• clearer vendor communication
• staffing adjustments
• setup checklists
• teardown procedures
• meal service flow
• transportation backup plans

No wedding is perfect.
But every wedding can teach you something.

And over time, those lessons become the foundation of a stronger, calmer, more professional business. ✨
