Created a grow out tank for my plants out of an old cage, definetly going to need to upgrade to a 20 gallon pretty soon to fully decorate it but this works for now.

It’s nearly impossible to keep plants in this tank, they keep ripping them up but that’s what they do in the wild. Top water plants like this jumbo frog bit thrives in this tank do to its high ammonia , nitrate, and nitrite spikes. It is a preditor tank so all the fish eat high protien diets which when broken down turns into those components.

Meet Zeus, out Nile Monitor! Don’t worry he’s all hiss no bite, he just doesn’t like people messing with his house. Topping out at 6.5 feet long and sometimes even more!! What’s really crazy though is his intelligence, these guys are one of the smartest lizards in the world he’s always so curious.

Getting ready for a show takes more than an hour! We go slow so the reptiles do not become agitated as they are packed up. Here, I made holes in a new large container for our biggest Bearded Dragon.
