Bow Fiddley is more than just a mascot. He represents our commitment to keeping music, history and the traditions of the Athens Old Fiddlers alive for generations to come.

He’ll be showing up at festivals, concerts, fundraisers, educational programs and plenty of places around Athens.

And you can expect to see a LOT more of him. 👀

So give him a big Texas welcome!

🎻 WE KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR MYSTERY FRIEND…

He’s a music lover.

He’s a Texas original.

He’s happiest when there’s a fiddle playing.

He believes kids should have the opportunity to learn music.

He loves preserving the stories and traditions of the past.

And he thinks the future of music should be just as exciting.

Most importantly…

He’s here to help the Athens Old Fiddlers Foundation keep the music playing for generations to come. ❤️🎶

Today is National Nonprofit Day! Greater Athens is fortunate to have so many nonprofit organizations leading with love, creativity and a commitment to serving others. Their work supports families, meets critical needs, creates opportunities, and makes our entire community stronger.

To our nonprofit Chamber members and every staff member, board member, volunteer and supporter behind their work: thank you for the heart, leadership and countless hours you give to our community. We appreciate you today and every day!
