To our followers and the community,
We recently removed our reel showing the storm rolling into the Pawhuska July 4th celebration because the comment section became filled with unnecessary hate that overshadowed the purpose of the post.
Our goal was never to create controversy. We simply wanted to show the power of nature, how quickly conditions can change, and recognize the incredible support we received from the community.
We'd like to address a few concerns.
We were fully aware of the forecast and monitored weather throughout the event. While we knew storms were possible, the speed at which this storm intensified and arrived surprised everyone. You can prepare, watch the radar, and have a plan, but Mother Nature can change everything in an instant.
Because severe weather was in the forecast, we had already created a weather safety plan and communicated it with both our team and the event organizers.
We also want to clear up misinformation regarding the inflatables. We had no affiliation with the inflatables seen blowing in the wind. Our equipment consisted of a mechanical bull and its inflatable safety pad. The bull itself never lifted. The inflatable pad briefly caught the wind despite being properly secured due to the sudden increase in wind speed. We immediately stopped operations and safely removed our rider. Safety has always been, and always will be, our top priority.
The purpose of our original post was to thank those who stepped up after the storm. The support shown by the Pawhuska community, the Drummond family, and their employees was incredible. Strangers came together to help one another during a situation that could have been much worse.
Unfortunately, the comments became focused on hate, politics, race, and personal beliefs instead of the kindness we witnessed.
To everyone who checked on us, offered help, or showed supportāthank you. Your compassion is what we hoped people would remember. We remain committed to providing safe, professional entertainment and appreciate everyone who continues to support our business.
