It was so special to get to shoot some maternity photos for my sister and her husband this weekend. They've been through so much this year, and trusted Jesus through all the ups and downs of loss, heartache, and now such wonderful joy of expecting their sweet baby girl. I am so excited for you guys and I can't wait to meet her!

Snickers was the first human I met on the Pacific Crest Trail this year, and I ended up hiking with him in the Sierra. We also reconnected in Oregon and Washington!

This photo was taken on day 3, shortly before we realized that we both worked in the same field (web/UI/UX design). The sun was beating down, so we whipped out our reflective umbrellas and talked about the design world. The 9 to 5 life felt a million miles away, and I relished the thought of 5 months of freedom and trail ahead of me.

Alli was one of the first friends I made on the Pacific Crest Trail this year. We camped at the same spot night one, and by the end of the first week, we were sharing an Airbnb and belly-laughing about ridiculous things together.
Unfortunately, our hiking pace wasn't quite the same, and she ended up ahead of me after a few weeks, but I'm so thankful l captured this shot of her on day 3.
