Initially I was really disappointed that I wasn’t able to capture portraits like I planned this year. I love being around people and seeing someone’s face light up with joy after seeing a new photo of themselves.

Planning out still life photos has been a blessing in disguise. Not only has it been relaxing, but I’m learning a new aspect to photography I didn’t enjoy as much before.

Issue 50 is finally out! I’m so beyond proud of this shoot and all the details my team brought forward. The concept of this shoot is based on the Japanese phrase Koi No Yokan which means the premonition of love.

I can’t begin to understand the challenges of raising a child during a crisis, but I wanted to do my best to capture new life during unforeseen times. We figured out how to do this shoot while maintaining social distancing, but still were able to capture what we both wanted.

There will always be beauty in this life.

Shoutout to the moms of the world. Living so far from home I always try and appreciate the short amount of time I get with family now. I feel grateful to have traveled Ireland with them. Appreciate your friends and loved ones 😊

P.s my mom hates getting her picture taken, so I had to trick her into trying to find something out the train window.
