Closing out my October weddings (and hopefully not the last of 2025 😉), it was a really terrific experience supporting Faith Turner & Camdon Myers on their beautiful day right at home — on Faith’s parents’ property, in the barn they worked so hard to prep for the celebration. 💍 Cheers once again to Grand Gatherings Event Rentals & Florals for the table settings and décor to set the stage for a fantastic evening – including “Myrtle,” the legendary Car Bar!

This was a unique gig in the coolest way. What guests didn’t know was that Faith and Camdon had already made it official earlier that afternoon in a very private ceremony as witnessed by their pastor in the presence of God. 🙏 So when guests gathered at 6:30 for the “ceremony,” the moment came with a twist — and I had the honor of standing in as celebrant for a surprise reveal!

After Faith was walked down by her father, I announced that the two had already been married — and that there was only one thing left to do… seal it with a kiss (again!) to make it official in front of their friends and family as Mr. and Mrs. Myers! 💞

From there, it was pure celebration — great music, incredible food (charcuterie compliments of Oh my board and BBQ compliments of Lantana Lucy's), and tons of dancing. Though karaoke never quite took off (maybe next time!), the night was packed with fun and excitement that everyone in Crossville could feel, especially via one of the biggest fireworks displays I’ve seen this season! 🎇

On a final note, I had so much fun in my role as "faux officiant," I might have to look into getting my license for 2026 — Atomic Stomp Weddings, anyone? 😉 I'll have to work on a good tagline... 😎

October 18, 2025: What a beautiful evening celebrating Tim & Nancy DuMez at the Lake Tansi Waterfront Pavilion! 🌅 The setting couldn’t have been more lovely — a peaceful lakeside view, golden sunset, and a fun-loving crowd, many of them who had driven down from Maryland to see their dear friends wed.

The ceremony was a canine extravaganza! Several of their four-legged family members had important roles, but none more than Theo as he absolutely stole the spotlight as the ring bearer. He performed right on queue too! Good boy!🐾💍

The decor was gorgeously on point once again thanks to Gatherings Event Rentals & Florals!! Dinner was exceptional, thanks to Outback Steakhouse catering. Everyone dined like kings on that Alice Springs chicken, a menu favorite! The transparent tarps around the pavilion were a smart touch, keeping the evening cozy and calm even as the lake breeze kicked up.

After the DuMez’s romantic first dance, the sky lit up with fireworks — and everyone in the Lake Tansi area knew that someone was celebrating a big day. In fact, I had Kool & the Gang queued up for that very moment for folks to light the dance floor ablaze! From there, it was nothing but smiles, laughter, and great energy all around. 🎶🎇

So thankful to have been part of such a joy-filled day. Cheers to you and yours, Tim & Nancy — wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and music! 🥂

Continuing my posts for October weddings I’d DJ’d, 10/12/2025 was another special day with the Penningtons, Jacqueline & John Paul – two outstanding individuals who couldn’t have been any easier to work with to create a truly unique, memorable event. 💍 This wedding closed the loop supporting both Jacqueline’s wedding and her close friend Kailey Pugh Woody (wedding date: 9/20/2025). They both came to me in late August, hoping my schedule was clear to support their weddings on very short notice. Luckily, my schedule was clear on both dates and I could arrange multiple sessions with them for site visits and consultations. 🙏

Jac and John Paul’s venue, The Barn Oaklawn Farms, was absolutely breathtaking — my first time there, and I was blown away by how many gorgeous backdrops the property offers. I think the Penningtons chose a GREAT spot with the Jake's Barn site. The setup, the views, and the vibe were just perfect.

I was so “locked in” and in the zone during the day, unfortunately I didn’t really capture any “DJ perspective” shots… though I did manage to grab one fun snap of guests lining up for freshly made WAFFLE HOUSE at the reception. 🧇😄 Yeah, you read that right. Let’s just say those loaded hashbrowns were legendary. What a COOL catering idea!!

I’m very eager to see some more pics of what Jac and John Paul post on Facebook! Jacqueline’s black wedding dress was unforgettable... absolutely iconic IMHO. With little nods to the Golden Girls, Elvis, and that touch of Hawaiian flair, theirs was the kind of day I relish when it comes to curating the soundtrack. 🎶🌺

Thank you again, Jacqueline and John Paul, for your trust in me to support your special day — and thanks to you and your fam for all the kind words and support afterward. (Shout out to Jason Bilyeu and Jennie Griffith Bilyeu!!) I’m truly honored. Cheers to you and yours! 🥂

October 11, 2025: What a truly special day celebrating Tyler and Kimberly Garrison! ❤️ Their wedding took place at their private residence in Grandview, TN, with one of the most breathtaking overlooks I’ve seen — and even more amazing to know this is where their future home will stand someday. 🏡

The weather and views were absolutely perfect, and when golden hour hit… wow. The photos and moments from that sunset glow were nothing short of jaw-dropping! 🌅

We kept the party going all night with plenty of great dancing, laughter, and love under the tent. 💃🕺

The stunning floral arbor arrangements and those fun yard games were all compliments of Grand Gatherings Event Rentals & Florals — they truly helped bring everything together beautifully!
Feeling thankful for another opportunity to be part of such a memorable celebration. Congratulations again, Kim & Tyler! 🥂
