This group has been SO supportive throughout our whole house-renovating journey, so when they came to experience an escape room, I was absolutely delighted! 🥹❤️

And let me tell you… Bree deserves a special award. 😂

She was literally wearing a boot and STILL made it up and down those stairs to do the escape room. She officially wins our “Most Determined Escape Room Player” award! 🏆😂

Aaron, Bree, Lance, Tammy, Clara, and Eve got out in a super impressive 41 minutes 29 seconds with only 1 clue. 😲

Another thing that made their escape room so memorable is Eve and Clara stayed the night, and it was such a joy to host them. 🥰

That is exactly the kind of experience I had in mind when we created The Trish.

Out-of-town family can stay here, local family can come over, everyone can spend time together, enjoy an escape room, laugh, make memories, and actually be together.

That’s the kind of place we wanted The Trieschmann House to be, so this was a major moment for me 🥹

There are so many places in this house where I think, “Why is it like that?” 😂

This spot in the Parlor is one of them. It absolutely baffles me.

My best guesses:

🔥 There used to be a fireplace here.
🏠 When the house was moved, they couldn’t quite get everything lined back up.
🚪 There used to be a pocket door here that was removed.

I’m hoping one day my research will uncover the answer. Until then, I’d love to hear your theories OR, if you know the answer, please fill me in! 👀
