I just finished the Etsy/web addition of two new coin bra & belt sets. Created by Alia Sews just for Halimeda's Oasis!

Black and Silver set: The belt size is 37 1/2 inches and can be tied for several different looks/sizes. Some smaller dancers overlap our belts, remove the ties and add hook & eyes to hold in place. The belt is 4 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The matching bra is a shaped and reinforced underwire. The sides are still there but all original strapping has been replaced as a X (cross) back/halter with rings and soft silky straps. Black and Gold set:: gold hologram paillettes and gold tone stamped aluminum coins with deep red jewels. The belt is a two piece and has 27 inch ties to hold it together. The front of the belt is 17 inches; the back of the belt is 19 inches. Black bra with red and gold trim, coins, paillettes and jewels to match the tie belt. It is an X back/halter with rings on the side for the straps to pass through. The bra cups are 8 inches from side to side and 3 inches deep. https://square.link/u/ogfS6xbY

We picked a hot and humid time to move from warehouse to another for Halimeda's Oasis! Just before COVID, I had expanded to a larger warehouse space because I had stocked up, accepted lots of consignments, and taken in bins of gorgeous fabrics. Then...came COVID. My once a month in person shows and festivals dropped to 0.

Now years later, i'm finally back to regular shows - which I love - and halimeda.etsy.com is doing just fine. I've reduced my inventory and the need for the large inventory storage.

Don't worry! We are watching for orders and putting a priority on shipping. We'll get what you need to you ASAP. In the meantime, we move inventory from one building to another in the Florida heat: hand truck, rolling suitcases, furniture mover.

Thank you thank you thank you for the wonderful day, 6/21/2025, "The Longest Day of Dance - Panama City". The event was sponsored by the Panama City Team of The Alzheimer's Association's Longest Day fundraising campaign.

Alzheimer's is such a terrible disease for both those that have it and those surrounding as we watched the cognitive and physical decline. It was wonderful to see the regional support for Jessica Shirvan and her committee. Halimeda's Oasis is proud have been a part of it.

Mike and I had a great time in Pensacola yesterday (5/31) for the 2nd Annual Saraab Hafla. Thank you to Amanda Little for putting it all together. And a big thank you to all who stopped by to talk and shop with us. Beautiful venue...and guess who (us) did not take any pictures? I guess we were just too busy absorbing the fun.

Looking forward to next weekend's hafla in Pensacola. Anyone want me to bring you something to look at? Never an obligation to buy but it sure helps if I know what to pack!

Saraab Belly Dance is presenting the hafla. I'm sure it'll be fun. Hope to see a bunch of my friends there!

The last of my Steampunk / Dance Fusion bloomers and long pants are now up on my web site. These are brand new old stock. I have "XS/SM" left and they really need a new home! Nice quality light weight knit, good sewing and they are really cute. Made in Nepal by Avatar.
