Prairie Paperie

08/17/2026

We’re thrilled to introduce Emma Howerter, our Prairie Paperie Senior Ambassador for the 2026–2027 school year. Emma, a Cozad High School Senior, will be taking a full Paperie Journey with us transforming paper and print into the tools she needs for her volunteerism, class projects, activities, and the sports she loves.

We’re excited to have Emma representing Prairie Paperie with positivity, leadership, and her signature community spirit. She’s already a familiar face around town, and soon you’ll get to know her even better.

I may never be an “official” ribbon cutter 🎀, but I am incredibly thankful.
Thank you to all the friends, family, customers, colleagues, neighbors, and community members who joined us for Prairie Paperie’s Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Your support, encouragement, and presence made the day so special.
If we didn’t get the chance to hug your neck or shake your hand, please know we saw you and appreciated you. Thank you for celebrating this dream with us. We are grateful beyond words. 💛✨

Out here doing “paperie” things.
Thanks Cozad Local and Cozad Community Schools for including us in this project.

📅 The 2026-2027 Cozad Community Schools Calendars Are Here! This year, family calendars will not be mailed. Instead, they will be available at the following events/locations:
**High School Parent/Student Orientations
**Middle School Parent/Student Orientations
**Elementary Open House

For our community patrons, calendars will also be available later this week at Security First Bank, Waypoint Bank, and Homestead Bank. To ensure every family has an opportunity to receive one, we kindly ask that you pick up one calendar per household.

We're excited to share that this year's calendars were made possible through the support of our wonderful local businesses! A special thank you to Cozad Local for designing this year's calendar and to Prairie Paperie for bringing the design to life through printing. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Security First Bank, Waypoint Bank, and Homestead Bank for sponsoring the calendars.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our local businesses and the many ways they invest in our students, staff, and schools. Your partnership truly makes a difference! Thank you for supporting Cozad Community Schools!
