People often think a wedding coordinator spends the day fluffing dresses, carrying bouquets, and making sure everyone walks down the aisle at the right time.

And yes, we do those things.

But what most people don’t see is the timeline we’ve spent weeks creating, the vendor calls, the contract reviews, the family dynamics we’re quietly navigating, the last-minute emergencies we’re solving before anyone else even knows they exist.

We’re the ones carrying safety pins, stain remover, tissues, aspirin, phone chargers, scissors, extra vow books, and sometimes the emotional weight of an entire family.

We answer questions before they’re asked.
We solve problems before they’re noticed.
We keep the day moving when things don’t go as planned.

We’re part event manager, part air traffic controller, part therapist, part referee, part cheerleader, and occasionally part magician.

A successful wedding day isn’t the one where nothing goes wrong. It’s the one where the bride and groom never know what went wrong because someone was there handling it behind the scenes.

At the end of the night, when everyone is dancing, laughing, and making memories, that’s when we know we’ve done our job.

Because wedding coordination isn’t about being the center of attention.

It’s about making sure the people who should be at the center of attention get to enjoy every moment of their day.

And honestly, there’s no place I’d rather be. ❤️

One week from today, two beautiful lives become one.

I’ve known the groom since he was just a little boy in elementary school. Watching him grow from that sweet young kid into the man he is today has been such a privilege.

There are certain people you meet in life that you simply root for, and he has always been one of those people.

Then a few months ago, I had the opportunity to meet the woman who captured his heart.

It didn’t take long to see why they are so perfect together. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out, kind, thoughtful, and incredibly organized. She has poured so much love, time, and attention into every detail of their wedding day, and it shows.

Over the past few months, I’ve had the joy of watching their vision come together piece by piece. In just one week, all of the planning, dreaming, and preparation will turn into memories that will last a lifetime.

I truly cannot wait to watch it all unfold. Your day is going to be beautiful because it reflects the two of you and the love you share.

There are more moments that I thought there would be in this work that feel less like business… and more like a full circle.

I’m not sure this part ever gets old…
Looking ahead to May 29th, my heart is already full.

Once again, I have the honor of standing beside one of my former students as they step into one of the biggest moments of their lives. There’s something so special about watching time unfold like this, seeing a child you once knew grow into a man ready to marry the love of his life.

I have known the Millwood family for what feels like forever, and being trusted to walk so closely alongside Amanda Millwood Mullinax and her son, Aaron, and future daughter-in-law McKinley during this season is something I don’t take lightly. It’s beyond anything I could have expected when I first stepped into a classroom years ago.

These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do.

I cannot wait to celebrate them…

There are some weddings that are simply beautiful…
and then there are the ones that quietly take a piece of your heart with them when the lights fade and the music ends. ✨

This past weekend was one of those.

I’ve had the honor of walking alongside Ember for over a year through this journey, but truthfully, I’ve known her since she was just a little girl. Watching her step into this season of her life… into love, into marriage… it’s something I don’t quite have words for, but I will carry it with me for a very long time.

Every single detail of this wedding was breathtaking. Not just because it was styled beautifully, but because it was built with intention, love, and so much heart. The vendors came together like they had worked side by side forever, moving in rhythm, lifting one another up, making magic happen in the quiet moments no one else sees. That kind of harmony can’t be forced, it’s something special… and we all felt it.

And her family… goodness. The love, the preparation, the care they poured into this day, it wrapped around all of us. It made everything feel effortless, like we were all simply playing our part in something that was always meant to be. Somewhere along the way, they stopped feeling like “clients”… and became something much closer to family.

And then there’s Ember and Nathan.

Nathan, the dreamer. The kind of soul that sees a world bigger, brighter, and full of possibility.
And Ember, the steady, beautiful balance to that dream. The one who inspires it, nurtures it… and gently grounds it when needed.

Together, they are something rare. Something right.

You can feel it in the silence (thanks Taylor Swift for the inspiration on words) you can feel it when filled with others.
You can see it in the way they look at each other.
You can hear it in the quiet moments between the chaos.

They just… fit.

As much as my heart is full, there’s also a small ache knowing this chapter has come to an end. I will miss the conversations, the planning, the laughter, the little moments along the way that no one else gets to see.

But what a gift it has been to witness the beginning of their forever.

Just 7 days… 168 hours… a handful of sunrises and sunsets until something beautiful begins. ✨

The Chaney wedding is almost here, and my heart is already full.

I have known this sweet bride since she was just a little girl in elementary school, watching her grow, finding her way, becoming the woman she is today has been such a quiet, beautiful privilege. And now… here she stands, on the edge of forever.

And Nathan… from the very beginning, he has shown up with intention, with kindness, jokes, and with a heart that is so genuinely big. Being part of this journey and witnessing the way he loves her has been something truly special.

These two didn’t just find each other… they chose each other. And in just one week, on April 18th, 2027, they will step into a brand new beginning, hand in hand, surrounded by love, laughter, and a lifetime waiting to unfold.

As a planner, these are the moments that mean the most to me… not just timelines and details, but the stories. The history. The way two lives gently weave into one.

Well, the Dabney wedding on 4-3-26 was another one for the books! Some wedding days feel special… and some feel like a little piece of magic you wish you could bottle up forever. ✨

Ashley & Eli’s day was exactly that.

The sky showed up in the softest, most perfect way… the weather wrapping everything in warmth and light. The kind of day that just *flows*where every moment feels meant to be, and it was!

Their ceremony was something truly unforgettable. Both parents walked Ashley down the aisle, a beautiful picture of love and support… and then, in the most meaningful transition, her father stepped forward to become the officiant. It was personal, powerful, and filled with heart in a way that you simply can’t recreate.

And the celebration? Oh, it was alive.
Fun, a little wild, full of laughter, things that make a wedding feel real. The kind of night where joy spills out onto the dance floor, and no one wants it to end.

What stood out most, though, was the people. Kind hearts. Open smiles. A room full of love and support for this couple that you could truly feel.

I was also able to bring my daughter-in-law, Ashley Mask, alongside me for the day, helping bartend the most awesome Mocktail Bar ever and stepping in wherever an extra set of hands was needed. It was such a special experience to share in the joy of this celebration together, creating memories not just for the couple but for us as well.

Ashley & Eli, thank you for trusting me to walk alongside you in such a meaningful chapter. Being part of your day, your memories, your magic, was an honor I don’t take lightly.

And in just one week, Ashley and Eli will step into their forever.

It has been such a gift to walk alongside them in this season. From the very beginning, they have been kind, thoughtful, and completely centered on what truly matters. Their love feels steady and genuine, the kind that doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful.

What makes this even more special…
I began working with them on February 10th.
That means in just **45 days**, we have taken thier idea, a vision, and a dream, and shaped it into something real.

Forty-five days of planning.
Forty-five days of trust.
Forty-five days of bringing their story to life.

And now… we are one week away.
