Experience matters. Reputation matters. But showing up matters, too.

You can have 10, 15, or 20+ years of experience. You can advertise the lowest price. You can have a long list of ceremonies on your books. But none of that means much if a couple is left scrambling the day before their wedding.

When you’re trusting someone with something as important as your marriage, look beyond the price and the number of years someone has been doing this.

Will they answer me?
Will they communicate?
Will they be prepared?
Will they actually show up?
Will they follow through and get the job done?

🚨 Were You Just Left Without an Officiant? 🚨

If your officiant cancelled your TDCJ ceremony at the last minute, don’t panic—I may be able to help! ❤️

I’m willing to take on a limited number of these couples and may be able to offer a discounted rate to help offset what you’ve already lost.

To qualify, I’ll need documentation showing your original booking/payment and the cancellation (such as a receipt, contract, or message from the officiant).

I know how stressful it is to have everything planned and then be left scrambling. If this happened to you, send me a private message with the details and I’ll see what I can do. 💍❤️

🚨 WARNING — PLEASE READ BEFORE TRYING TO GET AROUND TDCJ POLICY 🚨

TDCJ Administrative Directive AD-03.42 specifically STATES for inmate marriage ceremonies to be conducted on TDCJ property or at contracted facilities. The policy also lays out the approval process, including review by Access to Courts, Inmate Records, and ultimately the warden for final approval.

⚠️ If you attempt to circumvent this directive by trying to arrange a ceremony over the phone, by video, through a proxy, by mail, or by any other method simply because you don't want to follow the unit's required process, understand that you are putting the marriage request at risk.

The inmate must request the marriage through an I-60, the intended spouse and officiant must be identified, and the request goes through the required approval process. And most importantly, the warden has final approval authority over the marriage request. If the request is denied, the inmate is notified of the reason.

So if someone tells you, “We can just do it over the phone,” “The PRISON doesn't have to be involved,” “We'll find a way around the unit,” or anything similar — please understand that this is not how TDCJ inmate marriages are handled. AND YOUR MARRIAGE WILL NOT BE REGOGNIZED. Region I speciffically.

🚨 Quick Heads Up 🚨

If someone is offering “virtual weddings” for TDCJ marriages — please be careful.

Yes, TDCJ may recognize a marriage as legally valid, BUT if it’s not done according to their rules, you can be denied contact visits and spousal privileges.

Virtual ceremonies are not part of the approved process.

Don’t risk your marriage trying to take shortcuts. Do it right the first time. 💍
