It's Lindsay & Joey week!! We spent the morning at the Portland Flower Market picking out the perfect blooms for these two. Tomorrow is all about arranging florals, and Saturday we'll be trekking around Mount Hood and the Columbia River Gorge following them around with our cameras. We've been working on finding the perfect locations for them and their loved ones and planning all the fun visuals for almost a year, and it's finally here! Happy wedding weekend to L&J ❣️

It's been one year since I was invited to experience one of the rarest and most sacred days of my life - capturing Mabel's birth. What was supposed to be me taking maternity photos turned into 12 hours of capturing Signe's labor, Mabel's birth, and her first hours in the world, earlier than anticipated. Birth photography was never in my career plans, but when Kevin and Signe invited me to document their daughter's birth I dropped everything to be there. It was beautiful, scary, and emotional. Witnessing the love between Kevin and Signe, Signe and her mom, and all of them for Mabel stands out as one of the most special experiences of my life. Thank you Signe and Kevin for inviting me to be a part of something so sacred and for allowing me to share it now. Happy 1st birthday Mabel! ❣️

P.S. shout-out to my summer of binge watching Call the Midwife while editing the year prior to this that I genuinely think helped me emotionally prepare for this experience

• proof of life •

For both myself and social media. I haven't had my hands on flowers enough over the past two years. But that's the tradeoff I had to make to fully deep dive into two other crafts: photography and event design. This weekend we're combining our toolkit of skills in a really exciting way!

Before kicking wedding season 2026 off with a bang I spent multiple days in meditative creative practice, returning to my roots with floral design: testing the boundaries of the principles and elements of design with limited ingredients in a limited space.

Balance and integration are big themes for us this year. Learning to combine the art forms we've dedicated ourselves to relentlessly for years into one big picture and learning how to invite others in to witness it without fear.
