Yellow leaves? Don’t grab the watering can yet

❌ Myth: Yellow leaves always mean underwatering
✅ Truth: Yellow leaves often mean too much water, not too little.

Soft, yellow, mushy leaves usually point to overwatering.
Wrinkled leaves = thirsty
Mushy yellow leaves = too wet

Remember to only water your succulent when the soil is completely dry!

Look at my new babies! These are both Myrtillocactus geometrizans, same family, same species, even though they look very different. The first one is commonly known as B**bie cactus (I don't want to be in Facebook jail so you can imagine what goes in the asterisks!). The second one is the Dinosaur back cactus. They are both from Mexico. And do not ask me to propagate them any time soon because these are a pain!

Bigger is NOT always better

❌ Myth: Bigger pots help succulents grow faster
✅ Truth: Oversized pots hold too much moisture and can lead to root rot.

Succulents prefer pots that fit them. Too much extra soil stays wet longer than the roots need.
