AJ Mana was let go from his wrestling position at Knokx Pro, as well as his regular job, following the incident involving Syko Stu and Raja Jackson. The trouble started when AJ was caught on video telling Raja to give Syko Stu a “receipt” (wrestling slang for payback), but AJ later said he was just playing his character and following instructions to keep the storyline going. AJ argued, “I can’t control what another adult does. I was only following the promoter’s plan to build up heat for the show.” When the footage made its way to TMZ, AJ’s day job called and said the video made him look like an accessory to an attack, so they fired him too. Now he says losing both jobs means he can’t keep wrestling anymore.
