With so many new faces here, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.
I’m Larque Hicks — founder & Lead Planner of Last Little Detail Events. What started three years ago from a deep passion for event planning (and yes, a natural love for taking care of people) has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.
Over the past three years, we’ve had the honor of being part of so many meaningful moments and building lasting relationships with our clients—something that truly means everything to me.
This business has been such a big part of my life, and I pour my heart into what we stand for and the experience we create. But beyond the business, I’m also human. I’m a mom to two beautiful children, a wife, a daughter and granddaughter. I show up every day with intention, but like anyone, I’m not perfect—I learn, I grow, and I continue striving to be better in every way.
When I’m not planning or answering emails, you can find me outside with my kids making memories, enjoying time with my family, tending to my garden, watching my son play baseball, or dreaming up new ways to elevate the experience we give our clients.
At the core of everything we do is connection. We don’t just plan events—we build relationships, go above and beyond, and genuinely care about every detail of your day.
We are so excited to be in the heart of the 2026 season and to be part of so many beautiful celebrations—whether it’s a wedding, baby celebration, or graduation.
