Had to repost this. My Mother taught me at a young age to NEVER leave the house without at least a few dollars in my pocket. At first my parents would give me money here and there for house work (anybody who knows me knows I cut grass like everyday as a kid) and when I was old enough to work, I worked for it. I didn’t grow up poor. I didn’t grow up in the hood. But my parents taught me the right way. On top of that my friends and I always looked out for each other. Never let your brother starve, especially if you have food on your plate.

Yesterday was an amazing day as I got to spend it with my amazing family, especially seeing how excited my parents are about moving into their new dream house. They've worked so hard and done so much for others that it great to see them receive a blessing. They've been together 33 years and have worked hard both individually and collectively, facing obstacles along the way. But The Lord saw them through it all and blessed them once again. I'm so happy for them and thank You God for making all of this happen. Psalms 128:2.

Great notes from my study this morning. Difficult circumstances are not meant to break us, they are meant to test our faith and to strengthen us. With the end goal of us becoming complete in the eyes of The Lord. I compare it to working out. You will be tired and you will be in pain, but if you can push through and stick it out you'll be a better person as a result of what you've been through. Genesis 22:1.
