Yesterday's these cuties got married, and we had the best day! They were surrounded by so much love and joy. They had a first look, where they shared their personally written vows and a few tears. We performed a handfasting during their ceremony. Memories were made.

When I began Run to an Elopement 13 years ago - I had no idea the joy I would feel, the passion that would build, and roads I would walk upon. I didn't realize how many lives I would touch; I was just a dreamer who wanted to serve people in love. A ritualist that wanted to create rites of longevity, mutual respect and support. Sam and Josh’s wedding day was so much fun, every detail was thoughtfully executed by their planning team . Every moment was perfectly captured by . smashed the floral design - using all of Sam's favorite flowers. It goes without saying their venue is always top-notch and let's be honest, their fur babies stole the show- special shoutout to their handler, Jenny, with whom they connected with via Rover.com .

It was really an honor to write an unforgettable ceremony for these two, we shared their love story, we performed a glass unity ritual, we even took a few intentional breaths before we walked down the aisle, their wrote their own vows; what more could you want?

R I T U A L weddings are full of evoked promises, symbolism and ritual; in fact, that is what a wedding is. There are many traditions and personal rites that can be included on your special day. Featured here is a sacred smudging ritual. I used white sage, my sustainably gathered hawk feather wand and copper plate crafted by my cousin. With bare feet and full of intention, I call in divine feminine and masculine energies, ancestors and light warriors to protect the space and the people that will gather there during my clients wedding and the days that will follow. Kat's beliefs aligned with this blessing and she chose to gift herself, her partner, her parents and the venue with this sacred practice.
