Once in a blue moon I will shoot a styled shoot. I see so beautiful scenes at and many timed in jealous I'm not behind the camera. This shoot had to be documented and I'm so glad I did it. .designs

I adored The Colony Hotel in Maine far more then I imagined. The wallpaper, the view and screen doors with little crabs on them. It was all the Maine details I dreamed of.

I am thrilled to announce I'll be doing spring portraits this year and I'll be announcing some dates and locations beginning of March. As I start shifting my business I won't be doing mini sessions as much by rather intentional shoots with a mix of digital and film. Hello friends & followers I'm Ashley and I'm the lead photographer in Henry Photography. For fifteen years my husband and I have been shooting weddings and we've had some amazing opportunities to shoot outside of our land locked town. We've traveled both professionally and personally to gather some beautiful photographs and today I'm sharing them with you all.

For years I've hesitated in opening this little print shoppe for the shear fact that it's not Europe but mostly America and a little bit of Mexico. But it dawned on me that these moments I've taken to photograph what I found beautiful and worth holding onto forever may be something someone else holds dear.
So today, on this cold and snowy day in Ohio, I'm sharing my personal vault of travel photographs and opening Henry Photography Print Shoppe. Link is in bio and on stories!

Did you know that 15 years ago we shot our first wedding? For weeks I've been going through our back ups, taking a photo of each of our weddings and its been hilarious and so rewarding to take a trip down memory lane. From actions to presets, the photoshop jobs to shooting film... its amazing how far we've come. I plan on sharing more from the last 15 years so stay tuned to taking a look back on our career.

I hadn't seen Coty with a film camera in his hands in probably over a year. I forgot how great he is behind the lens and then I got this film scan back. Of course all the kids are looking, it's the closest thing you'll see to a miracle. It was bright, the kids were forced to put back on their picture clothes, they wanted to swim and I wanted pictures so it was seriously a miracle. Thank you Coty for this gift, you will always be the reason we even started shooting film.
