With all the rain we had last week, I was really worried that Friday's game would be miserable to shoot, but the weather cleared out and we had a great night for football! Made for great shots of the stadium, and highlights from the game.

Yesterday's Kilbourne baseball game vs Thomas was a lot of fun to watch / cover. They got started off with a 5 run top of the 1st inning rally, but the real magic was a 2 out, top of the 4th rally that included a grand slam home run by Grayson and a solo home run immediately after that by Kyler.

The past few weeks, I've been shooting the Crossfit Open events at my crossfit box (Legion XIX Athletics), and this weekend was no different. This week's WOD was particularly difficult with a ton of muscle ups (which are very difficult). During this WOD, Megan kept going after that muscle up, every time getting just a bit closer. One of the best things about Crossfit is the supportive community and with everyone cheering her on, she achieved it before the time ran out. I love these pics because they show the determination, the support of everyone there, and that pride of achievement. This is a perfect example of why I love shooting sports, and capturing those kind of moments.
