What started off as a gloomy, wet day bloomed into a painting of cotton candy clouds for this very special session. The sky was something else this evening!!!

I adore this family so much and hold their friendship in the highest esteem. They are the salt of the earth; a great family beautiful both inside and out. Grateful I got to capture them for another year. 🤍

A mom and her babies. Sunset and a green desert. Love and joy overflowing. This beautiful session was all of that and more.

So grateful this family chose me to capture their love and so delighted that the desert was showing off this evening. 🌵 I’m in awe of how wonderful this sneak peek turned out! 😍

Arizona was Arizona-ing for this one!

A friend reached out about her vacation and the dream of a photoshoot amount the Saguaro. I found the perfect location and Arizona was showing off for her and her family!

It was amazing to reconnect with this AMAZING family after over 15 years… they are just as charismatic and full-of-life as they were 15 years ago and it was an honor to get to capture their dynamic amongst a sea of cacti. Thank you Eiselt family for your friendship and picking me to document your time in the desert!

This AZ weather is unprecedented and after a lot of back and forth we decided to try to dodge the rain and make this shoot happen; I’m so glad we did. The sun was shining and the clouds cleared, just in time for me to photograph this ray of sunshine and her family.

Im so grateful an old friend connected me to this family and I was able to capture this chapter of their story. What a gift. 🎁

The perfect (not 100° ‼️) AZ September evening… a beautiful sunset, green foliage of monsoon season and a family full of love.

When I decided to add a few photo sessions into my fall, I felt so blessed that reached out. Not only is she a wonderful friend of 10 years, she’s a fellow single (read : rock star) mom, an entrepreneur and was kind enough to drive up from Tucson to support my little budding business. It was like a fun hang out getting to visit with her again and capture each of her boys dynamic personalities!

…and in it all, look at the way those boys look at their mom… 🥹 That’s what photography does, reminds us of the love we have for one another and the beauty in each of us.

This photoshoot means so much and I hope I was able to capture all the joy, love and connection as perfectly as I felt it on this night. 🌵 🤍📸

I was a photographer for 10 years and then I took a break… now, I’m hoping to hop back in… I’m still teaching so I have limited time, but I’d love to book 5-10 sunset sessions this fall. 🤍

Price will be good, 30+ photos, 30+ minutes.

It’s been a few years… but I miss it! When one of my teacher-besties asked me to take her family photos, I jumped at the chance. I love this family and it relit that fire in me to continue to dabble in my passion, photography. What joy it brings to be able to capture love, happiness and family in stills. This family has it all.

Add the extra challenge of a mid-day photoshoot and I’d say we made some photo magic. Love you, Billans!
