Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a packed dance floor. And we’d argue that’s pretty close. ✨

Here’s the part couples sometimes underestimate: your DJ typically lands around 5–10% of your overall wedding budget, depending on experience, hours and production. And they’re responsible for a pretty big chunk of how your reception actually feels.

We’re talking ties around foreheads, bridesmaids who haven’t left the floor in two hours, someone’s uncle suddenly requesting Usher and the bride fully committed to the inflatable light sticks.

The flowers are gorgeous. The cake is delicious. But when your guests talk about your wedding six months later? You want to hear, “That dance floor was insane.”

Because nobody remembers the wedding where everyone went home at 9:30.

The Bennett’s wedding at Aspen & Alston had that effortless kind of energy we love. The kind where everyone is fully in it, the celebration feels easy, and no one’s in a hurry for the night to end.

We were lucky enough to be part of it with Cove behind the booth, keeping the night moving and giving their people plenty of reasons to stay on the dance floor.
