We had so much fun at the first of the 2025 season! The Paint Swing was a crowd favorite-it was AWESOME to see so many kids (and teenagers!) having a blast creating their own canvases. You get to pick 3 colors to use when you ride the Paint Swing, and it amazes me every time how just 3 colors can create so much dimension and variety.

Thank you to everyone who came by and made a slap bracelet, took a spin on the Paint Swing, or just stopped by to see what we had going on at the CheckART tent. If you missed us this month, don’t worry! We’ll be back at the Hop July 26th, with our Paint Swing, raffle, and an art activity in our main tent.

Don’t forget, we are a MOBILE Art Studio- we come to you, wherever you may roam 🤘My husband and I attended this year, and we were tailgating before the shows with some friends who brought their teenage daughters. I brought all the materials needed for them to make Metal Stamped Dog Tag jewelry, which is one of many activities we offer for events. The girls spent a couple hours making tons of jewelry to take into the show and trade with other people. I’m sure hammering out dog tags on a cement block in a dusty parking lot will be a core memory for them. Contact us to book an event and make core memories with your friends and family! (Cement block not included, we were improvising and being resourceful 🤣).

Izzy made her own CheckART shirt 💛. She rode her bike to CVS, PRINTED OUT THE CHECKART LOGO at the photo kiosk, and then painted a t-shirt and glued the picture to it. After trying it on, she realized that wearing an actual 8x10 picture across her chest wasn’t exactly comfortable, so I helped her out with some fabric paint to replace the photo.

But my favorite part is the back. She came up with what is arguably the best motto ever:

“Art is fun, but CheckART is funner”

Plus the 2 thumbs up prints 👍👍.

And she even made a video of her creative process so I would have content to post 😂. Best kid ever 🖤💛

Our first KidsFest was a whirlwind, but we had a blast participating! We were SO BUSY the entire time that I only got a handful of pictures/videos. We ended up with enough room at our booth to set up Plinko in addition to doing a raffle and making necklaces and keychains. Scroll to the end to see what might be our most enthusiastic raffle winner to date. He said “There is NOTHING in this basket that I don’t love!!” 😁♥️

Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth, it was awesome to talk to so many people and share what CheckART is all about!

How cute are these mini paint palettes?! Did you know that goody bags are included with each CheckART birthday booking? Each guest will leave with their own bag, and the birthday person receives a special bag as well! Putting together party favors can be expensive and time consuming, let CheckART do it for you!

I had the best time at Valleyview Elementary yesterday morning! The kids got to make light-up wall hangings, which they’ll use as gifts for Mother’s Day!

Printmaking is SO FUN! I made some examples this weekend for an event coming up later this summer and I HAD THE BEST TIME; I think kids are going to love experimenting with different materials to see what types of prints different things make, making their own stamps, and creating banners to hang up at home. I’m so excited to see what they come up with!

Experimenting with adding silhouettes to the plastic lantern project, and they turned out great! Silhouettes will now be available as an add-on option for event bookings. All lanterns come with lights.
