Weekly Musings from your Muses

As quarantine regulations are slowly being lifted, we are proud to see our events community and Ohio leadership working together to create safe guidelines and a new framework for the immediate future of events.

While we are all working to adjust to the new normal and face the changes this brings to our industry, we also know that we thrive on creative solutions and overcoming all types of challenges.

This week we have been musing on the wide array of events and design we have had the privilege to work on, as well as the unique challenges each new project brings. From corporate meetings and conventions, community events and design showcases, weddings and private gatherings, every client, venue, and audience has their own specific needs. We aim to approach any new guidelines in the same way we have looked at any challenge in the past: a chance to innovate, excel, and overcome!

What opportunities does the future hold and in what ways can we make safe, creative solutions for our industry? We can’t wait to see the incredible ways our Muses, our partners, and our community will rise to the challenge.

Weekly Musings from your Muses

What a wonderful weekend ahead of us as we approach Mothers Day and there truly could not be a finer reason to celebrate. We think of the incredible Mothers who have stood as pillars of strength in our lives, who have taught and inspired, who have shaped and created, who have cared and encouraged. The lives that they have lead, the paths they have made, and the unconditional love they have given to their children and families. One day alone is simply not enough to say how much they mean to us.

But however you are able to this weekend, find a way to say thank you and celebrate ~ a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a breezy lunch or patio picnic, maybe even playing bartender for them at their very own backyard bar (like our favorite one here). And while we wish we could take them out for the most extravagant brunch ever before seen, we know we have enough in our hearts and in our homes to make them feel special, from a handwritten card to an extra long hug. So whether you make breakfast in bed or have a backyard spread, have a wonderful weekend.

And to all of our mothers,
Thank you. We love you to the moon and back.

Weekly Musings from your Muses

We joyously welcome the month of May today and as Spring moves right along, we are starting to see the first small steps towards reuniting with our everyday life. We know that this journey is far from over, but as temperatures begin to climb, tulips bloom, and the sun makes more regular appearances, we are musing on the joyous celebrations this time of year brings.

Any event planner will tell you that May begins the true start of wedding season, and this week we have been remembering fondly the gorgeous gatherings of last season while finding inspiration for the next. Beautiful brides in splendid gowns, light filled ceremonies, gauzy linens and blooms in abundance.

In these past few years we have loved watching the wedding trends develop; heavily swagged archways and hanging florals for a dramatic focal, lounge furniture in velvets and vintage styles, as well as more modern twists in clean acrylic, brushed metallics, and sequins.

Weekly Musings from your Muses

Spring is finally making its way back into the world. While these past months have been an unprecedented time for our community, our clients, and our industry, we have not forgotten the incredible ways we continue to be inspired.

We see the ways everyone is pulling together, the sacrifices being made, and the incredible resilience of those around us. We also see the beauty slowly starting to creep back out into the natural world with bright blooms, sprouting greens, and just a little bit of sunshine. While these changes in the season would normally mean a time busy with breezy gatherings, lush spring weddings, and lawn parties, we know these changes also mean something far more important. Spring is a time for hope, for renewed anticipation of all that is yet to come, for finding new ways to be inspired, for feeling invigorated once more.
