Hi! Iām Lisaāthe founder and creative behind Oxford Leigh Creative.
Full transparency: social media has been the hardest part of this journey for me. Even with a background in marketing, showing up solo for my own brand has felt overwhelming. Perfectionism is loud over here. Not being seen as āgoodā? A lot for this Type 1 Enneagram to process. I was letting fear wināand forgetting that Jesus says I am already enough.
Running a new business, with a generous helping of ADHD and while navigating a complicated health situation, has been humbling and, at times, highly questionable. But so far? Worth it!
Today, I decided to stop letting fear run the show.
2025 was a good yearāeven with some really hard moments. But I wish I had not carried this fear of showing up for my business into a new year. And I donāt want to reach the end of 2026 still letting fear win. I canāt walk in the freedom Jesus promises while holding on to fear. He led me here, and Iām choosing to walk in faithāeven with my hands shaking a little as I type this.
I donāt love not being an expert at everything I do. Iām a pretty bad photographer and I would rather create new things than take bad pictures of work already done. But honestly? Weāre all figuring something out. I may not be an expert in every area, but Iām learningāand doing a pretty good job of figuring things out along the way.
So, welcome to Oxford Leigh Creative. This is the official public relaunch! I design bespoke and personalized invitations, stationery, notepads, and lots of other fun paper and party pretties. I also create logos and branding kits. And as of this January, Iāve stepped back into event planning and am so excited to be working with a sweet couple getting married this August. Pretty Papers and planning big events feel like home to me.
Hereās to overcoming fear in 2026. 1, 2, 3 letās go!š
