Don't let the big yawn fool you - this guy's REALLY excited about the Fall Open House @ The Havenstone this week!

This Saturday (Oct 18 | 3–5 PM), we’re opening The Havenstone for you! A chance to explore, wander, and experience a place that truly feels like nowhere else.

Bring your camera, your curiosity, and whoever makes you smile. Take photos, walk the trails, and see what we’ve been working on lately. You might even find our turtle friend where we took this picture - just a few steps from The Quarry (a 6 day trek if you're a sleepy turtle.)

What a great day to be part of such a creative, kind, and welcoming community.

Huge thanks to Girl Scout Troop 8223 for hosting Trunk or Treat in Glenford — the energy, the effort, and the smiles were contagious. Events like this remind us why we love living here and being part of something special.

We snapped a few photos while we were there — and honestly, these felt a lot like mini Costume Sessions in a parking lot. 👻

Just got back from Trunk or Treat, hosted by a local Girl Scout Troop — and it’s always nice to be reminded why we love where we live! 🎃

The creativity, the smiles, the effort everyone puts in — it’s what makes this community so special. 🍂

Days like this remind us that the magic isn’t just at The Havenstone… it’s all around us here in Southeast Ohio.

We wanted to prove that anyone can make something magical at The Havenstone — no big production, no elaborate costume, just a good idea and A Place Like Nowhere Else.

Victoria and James agreed to help test the theory — and BOO(m)! Ghosts!

We spent tonight clearing leaves, getting ready for a wedding this weekend — and honestly, it’s one of those jobs that you hate as much as you love. It’s hard, but it's also the first real sign that our favorite time of year has arrived.

Every season out here has its rhythm, but fall is special. The colors, the light, the way the air changes — it all transforms The Havenstone. And this year’s events are going to make it even more magical.

We're excited to announce two new photo settings - that we've been planning and building for well over a year! The Opposing Thrones: the "Gnome Throne" and the "Stone Throne" - more details to come, but in the meantime we realize they just don't look the same when they're empty. Fortunately, we're hopeful to see some students get their Homecoming Photos in them...

We’re opening up The Havenstone again to students & families who want a unique, natural setting for Homecoming photos — at no cost to use the property.

Here’s what you need to know:

This is open to students from Perry, Fairfield, Hocking or Licking County.

We have a rehearsal and wedding scheduled for the weekend of Sheridan's Homecoming, so we need to be done no later than 5pm on 9/13/25

We have a form you need to fill out to let us know you're interested — it does not guarantee a time slot.

There’s no fee to use The Havenstone.

Bring your own photographer, hire one here, pose for a friend/familty member with a camera, or just use your cellphone and borrow one of our selfie stands. No hidden catches.

Hiring a photographer is optional and handled separately between you and them.
