Whose behind Angry Dad's Jerky?

Kevin and I started our beef jerky business so that we could offer great tasting beef jerky without artificial preservatives. Kevin has been making amazing beef jerky for years and with the encouragement of our friends and family we decided to launch Angry Dads Jerky. The name was my son's idea. Many years ago, when Kevin would make beef jerky, he would stay up all night and rotate the trays only to find that the kids would have eaten all the jerky (well most) before he could get his portion. Hence the name Angry Dads Jerky. Now we are living our dream creating a family business that will one day leave an inheritance to our children's children. After just one year we have four flavors afford in three size options. Angry Dads Jerky can be found in 8 stores across the central Ohio area and at local events. We love what we do and look forward to the adventure ahead!

Remember Dude?!

Well, we have a bit of an update for you. He is at MedVet Columbus getting a CT scan.

Since his liver shunt surgery in June, his bloodwork has not improved and a recent ultrasound showed he might have a second shunt. Dude continues to keep everyone on their toes, because this is pretty rare!! The CT will show if there is in fact a second shunt and its location.

Dude is still the sweetest dog EVER and will give anyone endless kisses.

His CT scan today is $3,500. We are nearing a $20,000 vet bill for the Dude since he joined our rescue in April of 2022. We do our best not to shy away from the tough cases, but it's because of your support we can keep doing it!
