A Heartfelt Farewell from Rugged Luxe

To our wonderful Columbia community, friends, and clients:
They say that when you follow your passion, you never work a day in your life. For the past four years, Rugged Luxe has been my passion, my pride, and one of the greatest joys of my life’s journey. However, after much prayer and reflection, my husband Kevin and I have made the heartbreaking decision to close our doors.

This has been one of the most difficult choices we’ve ever had to make. Due to ongoing health issues and recent life changes, we know deep down that this is the right decision for us and our family at this time.

Looking back to my days as a single mother—when I often worried about having enough for gas or groceries—owning and operating a thriving local business feels like a dream realized. To anyone out there doubting themselves: please let my story inspire you to follow your passions. Anything is possible with heart and hustle.

To our clients: You are so much more than "business" to us. Many of you have become repeat clients and, more importantly, dear friends. It has been a true honor to be trusted with your most special moments. Seeing your joy when a vision comes to life is what I will miss most of all. We are so incredibly sorry that we will no longer be an option for your future celebrations.

To my fellow business owners: Thank you for your guidance, your friendship, and for walking this path with me. I truly could not have done this without your support.

Important Information Moving Forward:
Existing Bookings: We will be honoring existing events on our calendar. However, we are no longer accepting any new clients or bookings.
Inventory Sale: We have built up a massive collection of inventory over the years (and we mean a lot!). We will soon start the process of selling our pieces. If you are interested in purchasing any of our event decor, backdrops, or setups, please reach out to us via private message or email.

Thank you for the outpouring of love and for letting us be a part of your lives for these past four years. It has been an amazing run.

🪄I surprised my sweet girl with a Wicked themed slumber party for her and her bestie 🧹 They each got a cute plush and Ellie was gifted tickets for her and I to see it on stage for the first time next week at ! We can't wait!

There is nothing we love more at Rugged Luxe than being asked back to celebrate another milestone with our amazing clients! Being a part of your family’s biggest moments is exactly why we do what we do.

We traded the usual glam for some serious fun this weekend to help Olivia "Splash Into Seven" in style! This retro-inspired swim party backdrop was such a blast to design—complete with checkered arches, tropical pink palms, and a balloon install that screams summer. 🌴🍍

Columbia families truly know how to party, and we were so honored to bring this sunny vision to life for Olivia’s big day. Happy 7th Birthday!

🤠 Giddy Up, !

Rugged Luxe was thrilled to ride into Nursery Road Elementary to set the stage for their Rodeo Round-Up school dance!

We pulled out all the stops with our champagne gold shimmer wall, creating a backdrop that's equal parts "Rugged" and "Luxe." From the balloon columns to the rustic hay bales, we made sure this photo op was ready for its close-up before the first cowboy boot even hit the dance floor.

We hope the students and staff have a legend-dairy time—no horsing around! 😉 It was an honor to help bring a little sparkle to this wild west adventure.

2/7/26 we were blessed to be a part of the 5th Annual at the Williams Brice Stadium. This was our 4th year supporting and her cause. Women's health, safety, and needs are something that are near and dear to our hearts and we couldn't think of a better event to be a part of! It has truly been a privilege to watch Deonna pour her heart and soul into this and watch it grow. This year blew my mind! Thank you Deonna, for your friendship, your beautiful heart, and for continuing to help support our business! 💕

Merry Christmas from the Rugged Luxe family! 🎄🎁

​As we celebrate today, we wanted to take a moment to send a heartfelt Merry Christmas to our incredible clients, followers, friends, and family.

​Looking back on this year, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. Our business wouldn't be what it is without your constant support, trust, and the opportunity to be part of your most special moments. We truly feel so blessed to serve this community.

We were able to be festive with our balloons this week and help a friend in a pinch. These balloon trees were just as much fun to build as they are to look at!
