I wish you could have felt the air out here today. Warm but weightless, the kind that carries every worry right off your shoulders.

You would have loved how quiet it was. Just the two of them, the soft pull of the tide, and a horizon that seemed to open wider with every passing minute.

It wasn’t about making an entrance or putting on a show. It was about choosing each other in the most unapologetic way possible.

I was raised between the Alaskan mountains and rolling hills of Montana.

I’ve spent the last decade immersed in visual storytelling - from darkroom film days to directing wedding weekends with couture level vision.

I’ve lived in the U.K. and across the American West.

I eloped abroad with my husband after planning it all in just 8 weeks.

So when I say I understand what matters most, and how to highlight it, I mean in.

My work blends editorial elegance with grounded guidance.

Why I Call Myself a Luxury Photographer - Not an Adventure One

Yes, I photograph elopements on horseback.
Yes, my couples sometimes arrive by floatplane, catamaran, or helicopter.
But I don’t call myself an adventure photographer.

Because my work isn’t about adrenaline.
It’s about atmosphere, emotion, and an artful sense of stillness in extraordinary places.

I don’t document 12 mile treks at sunrise.
My personal limit is 5 miles round trip - and that’s with good coffee and a view.
Because I believe the most unforgettable experiences are not the most extreme ones, they’re the most meaningful ones.

The ones that force you to slow down, connect, be present, and authentically plan a day around you two as a couple.

This isn’t “adventure elopement” photography.
This is luxury, redefined.

The kind where intention leads, beauty follows, and you never feel like you’re performing for the camera.

After all, life is already an adventure. Luxury is choosing to take the time to slow down and savor it.
