The last few days have been a sleepy heart filled blur.

After shooting a two day wedding, I left our client (& Jason) on Sunday night and packed my bags for Colorado to go see these two.

They are here celebrating big things…My best friend is marrying her best friend! I am over the moon about it all. I truly could not dream up a more perfect match for her.

This girl and I have been through life’s crazy ride together and almost 20 years of friendship. She deserves this so much and I feel incredibly blessed to be apart of it.

There are far too many photos to share and good things to say about this past weekend, but I will try to keep this as simple and sweet as possible.

J & Z

My heart is on the floor. It was YOUR wedding weekend and you put so much thought and love into our team. Jason and I celebrated 6 years married on Saturday, we were welcomed with champagne and a beautiful hand written card from this lovely couple along with many hugs and well wishes from friends and family members that greeted us like old friends.

So so many tears and conversations full of love. We are so thankful and cannot get over how truly stunning this day was.

Z & J’S engagement

We are celebrating these two next weekend and even though we had their engagement session less than a month from the wedding, it was so important for us to meet in person before the date arrived…spoiler, it was pure MAGIC!

Zu made us authentic Polish sausage and pickles while we waited out the rain.

We are tickled pink to share an anniversary with these two sweet and sincere humans.

Sneak peak of our gorgeous bride and groom from last weekend wedding in Burlington Vermont with at the camera and video helm.

It was the most picture perfect day and they were truly the best clients to be with. I actually made it to this wedding having completed my first week of treatments and I felt great so I said…you know what, Im going damn it.

More to come with all the partners involved but this was too lovely not to share.

Our engagement sessions have an emphasis on getting to know one another and doing something our couples love. This day was filled with hiking, biking, VT beer, and ended with some relaxation at their home with their two cats and some sandwiches.

I walked away with two new friends and I’m unbelievably excited to capture their day next June! 🫀

It seems to me that everyone (including us) is always sharing the highlights, perfect moments, and those iconic Pinterest shots but I kind of feel like Jenna in 13 going on 30 when she missed the life in Poise magazine.
