Hello 2nd Hand Smoke Southern BBQ family!
It’s been another amazing year here in Florida, the kids are getting so big.

Clark has a few years left in the Coast Guard and we are planning his retirement, and we are excited to say 2nd Hand Smoke Southern BBQ will be starting back up right here on the Space Coast in Florida!

We will begin with smaller private events, and then work our way to larger events again, but in the meantime we’re enjoying BBQing at Daytona International Speedway, spending the weekends at hockey, and our days on the beach.

Hello Facebook Family!
We know it’s been a while since we’ve been on.
We just wanted to update you on how we are doing at our new home in Florida!
Not much to our surprise Nicole landed her dream marketing job and is actively working on building a new marketing program with her company.
Clark is cooking his heart out like always on his Coast Guard ship here, and the kids, well they are growing like weeds!

As Clarks years in the military wind down 2nd Hand Smoke will begin to ramp back up in preparation for his departure and into full time catering and possibly a restaurant role(that’s a long shot but we will see!)

Anyways we miss all of our California family! And hope you are all doing so well!

We are settling into Florida well and have brought the love of BBQ to our local area! But we will never forget where we got started ♥️

While we have settled into our new home and Clark Lauer has settled into his new role with the Coast Guard we can’t help but think about how grateful we are for having amazing customers in California. Trust me, we miss each and everyone of you!

Some of you may remember that Nicole was earning her masters while running the front of the house. Well, she has built a new business! If you wouldn’t mind jumping over to her new business page and liking it, hopefully we can help her get it up and running!

Greetings from Texas!!

The kids got a little taste of Texas life this week! It was fun to see Clark in his home state teaching the kids about bbq, steer, riding horses and much more! Clark even picked himself up a keepsake( now to figure out where he thinks this will fit in our home 😂)

We are missing our California family and customers but we are so excited to arrive at our new home in Florida next week! Even if we have to quarantine 😘

And just like that we have delivered to our final client here in the Bay Area. While I sit here and reflect on the last two years of owning this company I can’t feel anything but gratefulness to our AMAZING customers! You have truly become our family. We are going to miss our Sunday night chats when dropping off dinner, or sharing a beer at a catering event. You have truly changed our lives forever and from the bottom of our hearts we can’t say Thank You enough! (Someone must be cutting onions because my eyes are watering)

The time has come that we start to say goodbye to you Alameda.

But before we do that we want to say Thank You.

Thank you for supporting a small business and a military family.

Thank you for allowing us to grow at our own pace while supporting us the whole time.

Thank you for understanding when our schedules became fully booked and waiting a while for that next dinner delivery to become available.

Thank you for allowing us to take the time off that we needed to compete in BBQ competitions, watch our kids grow or just spend one on one quality time.

Thank you for making what was a dream a reality. I was able to stay home with my kiddos and watch them grow, I was able to finish my Masters degree, I was able to watch Clark grow in his Military Career and I was able to meet some of the most amazing customers I could ever ask for!

WE as a company could not have done this without you!

Our final dinner delivery will take place on 4/26 We hope that this is not a goodbye but perhaps a see you later. You never know what the military has in store for us 💙🧡💙🧡
