A Message From Blooms and Brews — Formerly The Owls Nest Florist 🌿💐
We normally do not address customer concerns publicly; however, because a recent floral arrangement from our shop has been shared on social media, we feel it is appropriate to respectfully provide some clarification.
The arrangement in question was created with premium fresh calla lilies and fresh greenery. In fact, the arrangement included 15 calla lily stems, although the original order called for 10.
The photograph being circulated was taken after the arrangement had left our care. The browning and damage visible on portions of the greenery are consistent with heat and/or direct sun exposure. With the extreme summer temperatures we are experiencing, fresh flowers and greenery can be damaged very quickly when exposed to direct sunlight or left inside a hot vehicle.
The arrangement did not leave our shop in the condition shown in the photograph.
Because we understand this arrangement was purchased for a daughter’s memorial and recognize the emotion surrounding such an important occasion, we made the decision to issue the customer a FULL REFUND in an effort to resolve the matter respectfully.
At Blooms and Brews, formerly The Owls Nest Florist, we take tremendous pride in our work and in the quality of the flowers that leave our shop. We will always do our best to make things right when there is a legitimate concern. At the same time, once fresh flowers leave our care, we unfortunately cannot control how they are transported, stored, or exposed to heat and sunlight.
We sincerely appreciate our customers who continue to support our small, locally owned business. Every arrangement that leaves our doors represents our name, our reputation, and the work we put our hearts into every day.
