A few weeks ago, on the Season Finale of "Trivia at Wicks," The Zigs continued their annual tradition of winning on the last night, taking home the title with 44.5 points. Well done! Your biggest loser, who blew more points than they had, was Out of Towners. They kind of knew what was going on, but still managed to finish with -5.75 points. They were also from Ohio, which explains it all.

I can't thank everyone at Wicks Park Bar & Grille enough for just being insanely awesome every week. From the teams that play, to the bartenders, servers and cooks... I sincerely appreciate all of you. The fish taco withdrawals have already begun, but I can't wait to be back in the Fall.

In the meantime, have an awesome Summer and don't miss me too much. ✌

Today's featured business: Transfigure Print Co.! Transfigure is a Trans owned and operated screen-printing collective in Grand Rapids. They have a ton of dope shirts (of which I own a few), stickers and posters that show nothing but love and support of the LGBTQ+ community. You can shop on their website, or check out their physical store on Plainfield in GR. They've blown up over the last few years and I couldn't be happier for them!

Your final winners/losers at Our Brewing Company for the season. Golden Girls RKO'd from out of nowhere to take the top spot, finishing with a commanding 51 points. Thank y'all for being a friend. Finishing last with -2 points was Sinosaur. I'm still not sure how he wanted it to be pronounced, but regardless... It's always impressive to finish with negative points, so well done!

A huge thank you to everyone that supported Trivia at OBC through the colder/cold-ish months, as well as the staff there for always being the real MVP. Enjoy your Summer, feel free to cheat on me with another Trivia company if you want, and I'll see you again in September! ✌

The 2024-2025 Wicks Park Bar & Grille Trivia Season concludes tonight! Everything kicks off at 7 PM, with 1st Place getting a $25 gift card and a bunch of other teams getting some fun prizes. If y'all want some bonus points, wear a tropical/Hawaiian shirt (1 point per person), and/or bring in at least 5 non-perishable food items for Community Action House and get 5 extras!

Your 1st Place team last week, squeaking out a 2-point victory, was Dead or Alive! Definitely more the latter than the former, they finished with 46 points for their first victory of 2025. Better late than never! Finishing last, and being *TOO COOL* to stick around for a photo, was Kuro Inu. They ended the night with 0 points, no photo, and... well... just a whole lotta nothin'. Bummer!

What is Thrift Store Trivia?

Teams use their knowledge of entertainment, sports, history, science, politics and more to compete for gift cards, as well as prizes from thrift stores, garage sales and clearance shelves! Thrift Store Trivia is always absolutely FREE to play.

Beyond entertaining, Thrift Store Trivia constantly aims to help out those in need through donations, raffles and other possible means. Each week, teams can bring in at least 5 non-perishable food items for either Community Action House of Holland or Loaves and Fishes in Kalamazoo.

Additionally, Thrift Store Trivia loves to recycle! Answer slips are printed on the backs of previously used paper that could otherwise get thrown out. Team sheets and answer slips are then collected at the end of each night and recycled.
