Some business milestones look like contracts, celebrations, or rooms full of people. This one looks like a $2 bill.

When Gail sent Palmer Event Solutions’ first official invoice to our very first client, Drink Local Drink Tap, Founder and Executive Director Erin Huber Rosen intentionally paid it two dollars short. Then, she handed Gail a $2 bill and told her to frame it.

Gail kept it. She just never got around to framing it… until now.

Chapter 2️⃣ of our 10-year story is about that first client, the friendship that followed, and a small piece of paper that represents so much of what PES is built upon.

One of the greatest gifts of working on Assembly for the Arts’ Sparkle Art Ball was being introduced to an extraordinary community of Cleveland artists, performers, and creative partners.

Big wheels, big personalities and an even bigger purpose! 🏁 On Saturday, August 29th, teams raced, cheered and brought plenty of joyful competition to the 14th Annual Cleveland Big Wheel Relay in support of Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center.

This event was also a meaningful return for Palmer Event Solutions. After supporting the Big Wheel Relay in different ways over the years, we were honored to reconnect with the Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center team and step in as an event-day partner for a celebration already filled with so much heart, history and community support.

Thank you to everyone who helped keep the wheels – both literal and behind the scenes! – moving in order to make communication accessible for everyone. We loved being along for the ride. 🚲

Big ideas shine brightest when they have the right structure behind them. For Assembly for the Arts’ Sparkle Art Ball, that meant building a thoughtful framework for artist curation, programming, production, and collaboration, giving Cleveland’s artists and performers the freedom to take center stage.

The impact extended far beyond one evening. Relationships formed through Sparkle grew into future collaborations with incredible local creatives, including 10KMovement , Djapo Cultural Arts Institute and Corey Grand .

That’s the kind of work we value most: experiences that celebrate a mission, strengthen community, and create partnerships that keep shaping what comes next.

One unforgettable event brought Gail’s vision to life – and made it clear that her next big idea needed to be Palmer Event Solutions.

That event was Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland 2016 – an opening celebration that brought roller derby skaters, drum lines, stilt walkers, mascots, musicians, and dozens of entertainers together beneath the Playhouse Square chandelier.

Pulling it off proved she was ready for something bigger. Making it easier for organizations to hire her gave that “something” a name: Palmer Event Solutions.

This August marks ten years since Palmer Event Solutions became official. Over the next year, we’re not simply celebrating the events we’ve produced. We’re sharing the people, relationships, and moments that shaped who we are.

Because this was never really just a story about events; it’s a story about:
