This gives you enough time for a little tailgating before the show and ensures premium parking close to the main gate. As we approach the end of another whirlwind year, I cannot help but echo your sentiment - 2023 seemed to have passed by in the blink of an eye.

The leap into 2024, complete with an extra day for whatever pursuits we fancy, adds a unique touch to the upcoming calendar.

The constant barrage of election days and the perpetual plea for 'just a few more dollars' in the mailbox can indeed be overwhelming. The sheer volume of donations and robo call requests has reached stunning proportions, leading to more spam emails and the once-exciting trip to the mailbox to a direct route to the shredder and recycling bin.

In these four years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have witnessed a rollercoaster in the world of travel. Leisure travel is making a comeback, but business travel still lags, and the rising costs across the board make it a different landscape altogether. The adaptability of technology has allowed for dynamic pricing adjustments, but the absence of fixed prices in the travel industry is a new norm.

Looking ahead to 2024, it seems more changes are on the horizon, especially with the travel industry grappling with the implications of NDC (new distribution capability). The idea that there was 'one best way' to do things, as envisioned 10 years ago, now seems like a distant memory. The evolution from a flat, text-based, cryptic code world to the point-and-click, graphical displays of today is a testament to the rapid pace of technological advancement.
