🍗🌶️ Pulled up to Church’s Texas Chicken in Wilmington, North Carolina, and I've got to say—this spot is seriously underrated when it comes to fast-food fried chicken. The chicken was hot, juicy, and full of flavor from the first bite to the last. Add one of their signature jalapeño peppers on the side, and it takes the meal to another level. And let's talk about those honey-butter biscuits—soft, buttery, and an important part of the Church's experience that helps set them apart from the competition. If you haven't tried them lately, it's definitely worth the stop. 🍗🌶️

🍳 Alert in Hallsboro, NC! 🍔

Pulled up on Gwen's Diner & Catering in Hallsboro, North Carolina, and found one of those spots that deserves a lot more attention. Many locals remember this location as Mrs. Alice's Store back in the day, but the new ownership has this place rocking and rolling. Great customer service, a clean atmosphere, and a steady flow of locals, seniors, and work crews stopping in for breakfast and lunch. If you're searching for great local restaurants in Columbus County, this is one of those true "if you know, you know" foodie finds. Shout out to the Hallsboro and Artesia communities—go pull up, grab a bite, and show this local some love. 👍🏾👍🏾8/10

Went live tonight and tapped in with the people while putting together a quick dinner—fried shrimp, whole fried okra, and a baked potato holding it down on the side. More than anything, it was a chance to connect, show some love, and give thanks to everyone who continues to support the journey. I also took a moment to explain how I approach food reviews and where my credentials come from as a chef. Appreciate everybody who pulled up, commented, and spent a little time with me this evening. 🍤🥔

Took a nice drive down to Seaman’s Seafood in Longs, South Carolina, and it was worth every mile. From the moment I walked in, the customer service and hospitality were on point, making you feel right at home. I grabbed a to-go buffet by the pound, and the price was surprisingly good for the amount and quality of food you get. Everything was A1! One thing that really stood out is their Tuesday and Wednesday all-you-can-eat snow crab leg buffet for just $39.99. Located right off the highway, you can avoid all the beach traffic, get in, get your food, and get out. I’ll definitely be back! 😎🍤🦀

🍔🌮 Pulled up to the Get & Go in Lumberton, NC and found one of those that keeps things simple but gets the job done. The customer service was on point, and for a small spot, the menu had plenty of options to choose from. Between the grill and the vibe, it's the kind of place that's easy to overlook but worth stopping for. If you're a riding through and need a quick bite, give them a shot. 👍🏾👍🏾8/10

🍔🌭 Pulled up to Cain's Grill in White Oak, NC, one of those classic country grill spots where you walk in, place your order, and get back out with no fuss. The customer service was solid, and I managed to beat the lunch rush before the place filled up. This spot came highly requested, but for me, it just didn't live up to the hype. The burger was overloaded with Carolina-style toppings to the point where I could barely taste the burger itself, and the hot dog was decent but nothing special. The steamed buns were probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall, it's not bad food, but it tasted a lot like other local spots I've had before and felt a little overrated based on all the praise.

From cakes, cookies, and pies to flavor combinations that break the mold, every dessert brings something unique to the table. 🍗 Pulling up on Royal Farms is best in Lumberton, North Carolina, and the experience was top-tier from the moment I walked through the door. The customer service was on point, the staff was friendly, and the food came out fresh and hot. If you're looking for some of the best gas station chicken around, Royal Farms is setting the bar higher than a lot of the chain spots out there. 🍗
