Hi, I am Chris Webb and I am a Professional Wedding Planner. The owner of the company and I spoke last March and we changed up how we do things and have wonderful things to offer. What do you need your wedding planner to do for you besides put on Boutonnieres, hand out corsages and fill your wine cup and set out a plate and fork for the cake cutting? Oh, someone to direct the rehearsal so everyone knows what to do at the ceremony. -- I hope that's not all you are looking for because we offer so much more. Please list below under comments what you expect a wedding planner to do for you, besides the five things listed above. I really want to know! Thanks.

I truly love this bride and groom. They are so lovely. I am so proud to have worked with them. She had a theme and went with it. I only wish I had a close up of her face. She had beautiful peacock blue/teal/green eye shadow. She looked gorgeous.

Why is the bride "given away?" in marriage? The reason is that in Biblical times, and even today, brides are purchased. Yes! Brides are purchased and were considered the man's property. That's why she wore a ring to show to all the people around, especially the men, that she was taken. Brides were often purchased for several oxen, bags of grain, sheep, goats, donkey's or other animal and often with the sale of wheat, oats, barley or other grains, and even sometimes actual coin money. -- today, it's important to have the minister say she is "given" or "presented" in marriage, to the guests so it is known that she is willingly entering into this marriage. -- More important wedding facts coming soon!
