This past weekend I was a part of history in helping to bring Azure Treo brainchild to life. The Black Veterans Expo, the first of it's kind to take place in Chicago. The Black Veteran Weekend experience started with the Expo with over 20 vendors consisting of small black veteran owned businesses and veteran organizations providing resources. We also hosted panel discussions on various topics that the veteran community struggles with in navigating business ownership, employement, and housing. Next we hosted a cookout at George Giles American Legion post, and ended with the Broken Arrow rodeo show with the founder being a Vietnam vet. In the spirit of Juneteenth it was wonderful to connect with so many black veterans. Our goal is to curate more events like this in future and provide a much needed impact to the community. Thank you to everyone that helped make this happen and all that were able to attend and help make history with us.

Hey ya'll 👋 so if you noticed I've been MIA from the wine business this summer. I was busy growing my son's business The FOB: Fun Operating Base where we host nerf war and gellyball parties for all ages. As the awesome season we had dies down I'll have room to start back scheduling wine tastings for the fall. If you have kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, or work with youth check out the FOB and I'll be back to serving my adult clients next month. Sip with ya'll soon 😘

I used to see myself as more of a half full person. When asked in a recent interview if I saw the glass half empty or half full… I remembered that it’s refillable! At any time it’s looking half empty, I am sure to fill it up to the brim! Why settle for half when you can have it all Sis. You can have it all.
