The Legacy Awards at the Old Post Office was absolutely grand. Congratulations to WDB Marketing and Keeana Barber for celebrating 20 years in business!

What I loved most was the recognition of the “Young Entrepreneurs.” Giving the next generation a voice and creating space for them to grow is how we continue to build community, collaboration, and legacy.

What It Represents
- Love for self
- Love for family
- Love within the Black community
- Respect for Black culture and heritage
- Forgiveness and healing

Black love is:
- A father teaching his daughter how she deserves to be treated.

- A mother holding it together when life feels heavy.

- Sisters supporting sisters without competition.

- Friends who pray for you and not against you.

- Choosing health. Choosing peace. Choosing growth.

And today, I honor it.
