My Story

Rochelle Baker is a Special Event Consultant specializing in the Day-of the event. She began her career as a School Social Worker and continues to use her social skills that she learned in graduate school with her clients. Rochelle’s party planning experience began more than twenty years ago as she created custom invitations, candy centerpieces and gift baskets for family and friends. While her kids were in school, she chaired and coordinated a number of fundraising silent auctions. In 2003, at her friends urging, she officially opened her Special Event Consultation business. Today, Rochelle is known in the city of Chicago for her expert ability in assisting clients on the day-of their special event. Rochelle enjoys spending time with her family, perusing websites for new ideas and inspiration, and donating her time with organizations involved with the Holocaust. She co-chaired and co-founded the Chicago Chapter of the Survivor Mitzvah Project where she helped raise $30,000 for Eastern European Holocaust survivors.
